Clothing and Equipment

 

The weather in Western India is comfortable October through February when the average daily temperature is below 80 degrees Fahrenheit and where nights can be cool to cold. May, June and July are the hottest months (average above 90 degrees). Monsoon season is between June and September.

• Pack clothing appropriate for the season and for motorcycle riding (paved and dirt roads).

• Full faced motorcycle helmets are provided but motorcycle clothing is not. Travelers must bring their own protective clothing.

• At least one set of weatherproof gear is recommended.
